		Hardangervidda Hardangervidda is Northern Europe's largest high mountain plateau. You'll see extended plains in the east and more of an alpine character in the west. Hardangerjøkulen is one of Norway's largest glaciers, and Hårteigen is visible from most of the plateaus open landscape.
		National Park of Hallingskarvet More than 300 million years ago, long before the last ice age, a massive mountain ridge was shoved up over the plain. Today, Hallingskarvet stands as a comfortable landmark and separates Hardangervidda and Skarvheimen.
